Tim and Karen Burr
Missionaries to Australia

About Us

Since his parents, David and Betty Burr, were missionaries to Australia, Timothy spent 10 years of his childhood on the mission field. In spite of a childhood experience, it wasn't until his first year at Baptist Bible College, in 1988, that he asked God to save him. Soon afterward, God started dealing with Tim about missions, and he began seeking God's direction. He wanted to go where there wasn't much gospel witness. God burdened him for Australia.

Karen was raised in a Christian home and also thought she had been saved as a young child. But at age 12 she truly asked Jesus to save her. Karen's family belonged to Tri-City Baptist Temple in Gladstone, Oregon, and in her teen years she worked in various ministries. After graduation, Tim and Karen served their internship at Tri-City and are confident of God's leading to Australia.
