A New Year With New Goals & Hopes - PTL!

2010 HAS STARTED WELL: As soon as we returned from furlough we began working on our 2010 Family Camp - What a tremendous blessing it was! Pastor Lewis McClendon & and a team (13 strong) from Ventura Baptist in Ventura, CA. came to minister to our churches this year & they had a tremendous impact on our people. A number of souls were saved (8 so far from our Church alone) during and as a result of the messages at camp. Our people are on fire right now & we are praising the Lord for it.
ALSO - were able to see two of the men we’ve trained over the years ordained to the Gospel Ministry. It was thrilling to watch their passion, as they gave evidence of their faith in God and knowledge of His Word. An extra blessing is that one (on the right) was our middle son, Benjamin. Wow! Can it get any better?

OUTREACH MINISTRY: One of the things that has grown out of this ministry is the food distribution we have seen growing at our Onehunga work. A little over two years ago businessmen began to contact us and ask if we could handle distribution of foods to the needy - we said yes! In 2010 already we have distributed over $150,000.00 worth of food to the community. It has been a tremendous outreach and has grown our testimony in the area. We use this as a tool to speak to the people about how God wants to meet their needs spiritually as well. Please pray for us as this is a vital tool to reach into the homes of those who are need of Christ and to further our inroads into the surrounding communities

Prayer Request:
For our upcoming Youth Camp April 8-11. Last year we had souls saved every day Please pray with us.

DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM: Another ministry that has taken off with force this year is our new Discipleship Program. A HUGE thank-you to Bro. Craft and his Church in Ohio for helping us get started by donating our first fifty discipleship books. We have already seen several saved as a result of it (the Mother of a young girl who we’ve praying about for some time) AND, we are implementing it as required training in our Bible College here.

URGENT NEED: As a result of our growing “Evangelism (tract) Distribution Ministry”, coupled with our “Food Distribution” we’ve been in desperate need of a trailer to handle both literature and food. Last term we handed out 65,000 Bibles alone! We normally distribute between 4,000-5,000 tracts, fliers and literature every month. With our sending Churches approval we’ve taken out a loan for $3,500. for this much needed trailer and gone ahead with it. One Church has given $1,000.00 already.
